Kitchener to Toronto Pearson: prices and pickup checklist

Your Kitchener transfer options

MoveVia provides private, direct transfers between Kitchener and Toronto Pearson International Airport (YYZ). Book To Pearson for a pickup at your Kitchener address, or From Pearson for a trip from the airport to Kitchener. Your vehicle is reserved for your booking.

The Kitchener city fare is $150 CAD. A single $30 minivan upgrade applies when either the passenger count or standard suitcase count is five or more, bringing the fare to $180 CAD. These are transfer prices, not per-person prices.

Check the city and exact address

Choose the city that matches the address where you need pickup or drop-off. MoveVia lists Kitchener and Waterloo separately in the booking form; select the correct city rather than treating the names as interchangeable. Enter the street number, street name and any relevant building details.

For a hotel or workplace pickup, specify the entrance where you will meet your driver. If a colleague or family member is arranging the booking, make sure the contact information reaches the person travelling and that they receive the booking reference.

Gather your group at the booked address before pickup. If you need a stop at another address, ask MoveVia before booking: the standard service is a direct transfer.

Plan backwards from your flight

Check your airline?s recommended airport arrival time, then work backwards to choose your Kitchener pickup time. Allow for the road journey and possible traffic or weather delays. The time entered in the booking form is your pickup time, not the time your flight leaves.

For an early departure, confirm your date as well as your time. A pickup shortly after midnight belongs to the new calendar day. All booking times are shown in Toronto time, which is useful to remember if you are arranging the trip while abroad.

Compare the fare for your group and luggage

A booking with fewer than five passengers and fewer than five suitcases uses a car or SUV at the $150 Kitchener city fare. A booking with five or more of either uses a minivan at $180. MoveVia accepts bookings for up to seven passengers.

Four passengers with four suitcases pay $150. Four passengers with five suitcases pay $180. Six passengers with three suitcases pay $180. Six passengers with five suitcases still pay $180 because the minivan charge applies only once.

The exact vehicle is assigned before pickup; the booking illustrations show the category rather than a guaranteed model. Contact the team about unusual luggage, bulky equipment or special seating requirements before booking.

What to expect when Pearson is your pickup point

Select From Pearson and enter the full Kitchener address for your drop-off. Include your flight number so MoveVia can respond to a changed arrival time. Your driver details are sent by email or message at least two hours before pickup, and airport meeting instructions are sent before arrival.

Follow the meeting point sent by your driver rather than assuming a particular terminal door. Keep your phone available after landing, and contact MoveVia if baggage collection or other arrival procedures delay you.

The included airport waiting time is 60 minutes after actual landing. Other pickups include 15 minutes after the scheduled time. Additional waiting is subject to availability, with any extra charge agreed before it applies. For airport pickups with a flight number, an adjusted pickup follows your updated arrival time subject to availability. If MoveVia cannot accommodate the flight delay, you receive a full refund.

Payment, confirmation and changes

Review your selected city, address, terminal, pickup date and time, passenger count and suitcase count before payment. Your total is shown in Canadian dollars. After successful payment, a confirmation and paid invoice are emailed to the address you supplied.

Save your booking reference and share the trip details with anyone travelling with you. If you need a change, email hello@movevia.ca with the reference and the details of your request.

Cancellations at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup qualify for a full refund. Within 24 hours, bookings are non-refundable, although changes may be requested subject to availability. If MoveVia cannot provide the booked transfer, you receive a full refund. No-shows are non-refundable; MoveVia will attempt to contact an unavailable passenger after the included waiting time before marking a no-show. Review the full policy before booking.
