Make the pickup address easy to find

For a home pickup, enter the full street address and any entrance or unit details. If you are staying in a hotel, include the hotel name and street address rather than relying on the name alone. Have your bags ready at the agreed pickup time.

If your pickup is at a university building, residence or workplace in Guelph, identify the specific building and entrance. A campus or business name may describe several possible meeting points. Use the driver notes for useful directions, and keep your phone available for questions.

Choose your pickup time for the journey to Pearson

The time you enter for a Guelph pickup is the time you want the vehicle at your address. It is not your flight departure time. Start with the airport arrival time recommended by your airline, then allow for the road journey and possible delays.

Check current travel conditions while planning. Traffic and weather can affect the journey, so avoid building your schedule around a guaranteed drive time. Count luggage before choosing your transfer

A car or SUV applies when you have fewer than five passengers and fewer than five suitcases. A minivan applies when either count is five or more. The specific vehicle is assigned before pickup, and booking images illustrate the category.

For example, one passenger with two suitcases pays the $135 Guelph fare. Two passengers with five suitcases pay $165 because the luggage count triggers the upgrade. Five passengers with five suitcases also pay $165: the $30 is added once, not once for passengers and again for bags. You can book for up to seven passengers.

Tell MoveVia about bulky equipment or special seating needs before booking. The number of suitcases alone does not establish whether unusual items can be accommodated.

Returning from Pearson to Guelph

For an airport pickup, enter your full Guelph drop-off address and provide your flight number. Your driver details are sent by email or message at least two hours before pickup, and the driver sends the exact airport meeting point and instructions before your arrival.

Airport pickups include 60 minutes of waiting after actual landing. Allow yourself time to follow the arrival procedures and collect your bags, and keep your phone accessible. Contact MoveVia if you are delayed. Additional waiting depends on driver availability, and any additional charge must be agreed with you first.

For airport pickups with a flight number, MoveVia adjusts to an updated arrival time subject to driver availability. If the delay cannot be accommodated, you receive a full refund.

Keep your confirmation and know the cancellation rules

Check the address, terminal, date, time, passenger count and luggage count before paying. After successful payment, your confirmation and paid invoice are emailed to you. Save the booking reference so the team can find your trip if you contact them.

Cancel at least 24 hours before scheduled pickup for a full refund. Cancellations within 24 hours are non-refundable, but you can request a change subject to availability. If MoveVia cannot provide the booked transfer, you receive a full refund.

Pickups outside the airport include 15 minutes of waiting after the scheduled time. If you are unavailable after the included waiting period, MoveVia will attempt to contact you before marking the booking as a no-show. No-shows are non-refundable.
