Car, SUV or minivan: planning your airport transfer

Understand how MoveVia matches your passenger and suitcase counts to a car, SUV or minivan, and when the single $30 upgrade applies.

Count passengers and suitcases separately

Before booking, check how many people are travelling and how many standard suitcases you will bring. A small group can still need a larger vehicle when travelling with several bags. Enter both counts accurately so your booking reflects the space you need.

When your booking uses a car or SUV

For fewer than five passengers and fewer than five suitcases, MoveVia uses a car or SUV. The specific vehicle is assigned before pickup. The images on the booking page illustrate the vehicle category; they do not promise a particular make or model.

When a minivan applies

A minivan applies when either your passenger count or your suitcase count is five or more. You can book for up to seven passengers. The upgrade is a single $30 CAD added to your city fare, even when both counts meet the threshold.

For example, four passengers with four suitcases use the city fare. Five passengers with three suitcases add $30. Three passengers with five suitcases also add $30. Five passengers with five suitcases still add only $30, not $60.

Tell us about unusual luggage

A suitcase count does not describe the size of every item. If you are carrying equipment, bulky items or have a special seating request, contact MoveVia with the details before booking. This gives the team the information needed to discuss your trip rather than assuming any item will fit.

Review the whole trip

Check your selected city, address, passenger count and luggage count before payment. The total is displayed in Canadian dollars. Your transfer is private and direct, with the vehicle reserved for your booking.

Your driver details are sent before pickup. Keep your booking confirmation available and contact hello@movevia.ca if your passenger or luggage plans change.
